Autumn and Winter

I'm going shopping today, for summer clothes.  As much as I love any endeavor that ends with me getting new clothes, the thoughts of officially leaving behind my autumn and winter aren't totally welcome. I'm a layers, dark  colours, boots and knitwear kind of person. I love autumn and winter and all that they bring, I love that in Ireland spring is just an extension of those two seasons. I've loved this (school) year, and I'm not sure if I'm ready to leave it behind just yet.

This is my unseasonal inspiration tribute to the seasons I love the most.
After this I promise to be totally excited for summer.

What's On My Bedside Table

I know this post was a trend a few months ago but I only became aware of it last night! I love reading these kinds of posts, as I find them inspiring and they also help you to get to know the writer behind the blog a little bit better.  My bedside table is a simple, three door locker. The top drawer is filled with make up, the second with body products (mostly Soap and Glory!) and the third with old scripts, photos and newspaper cuttings. I tidied it up a little bit before photographing, as I'm quite an untidy person! Usually there is a mug containing cold herbal tea or coffee to be found here!

1. I adore my tin Avoca initial. I think it's just the prettiest ornament ever. Avoca is one of my favourite lifestyle shops.
2. This skull candle is from Kwilla, a truly beautiful local boutique which my friends and I are just obsessed with! I bought this little guy quite recently and I think he's so cool that I don't think I'll be able to bring myself to burn him!
3. Fashion books make such pretty decorations. I keep my favourites scattered about my bedroom.
4. I guess you could say I'm a fan of Soap and Glory! These are three of my favourite products, Hand Food (a hand cream) Girligo (a moisturising body mist) and Smoothie ( a moisturiser).
6. My mom and Dad gave me this Diddl mouse box for Valentine's day when I was quite young. I use it to store my earrings, rings and necklaces before I go to bed.
5. This little tea light holder was actually a gift, a couple of years ago my school gave one to everybody who was on the student council (which included me back then)!

I hope you've found this interesting and you're having a good Saturday!
