Theres Something About Lana

Like much of the world I've fallen head over heels in love with Lana Del Ray (or Lizzie Grant to her Mom and Dad). There's something about those bee stung lips, that movie star hair and the vintage inspired style which combined with her music is addictive

It looks set to be a great year for the indie pop star. In January alone she's been on the cover of Q magazine, scored a modelling contract with Next Model Management and later this month her album will be out.

That jacket.

Those eyes.

I love how she almost always wears that cross necklace.

I really can't wait to see what she wears next.  If her style continues to be as pretty and intriguing as it is now, there are definitely even bigger things coming to her fashion wise.

"You were sorta punk rock, I grew up on hip hop. But you fit me better than my favourite sweater". Blue Jeans is my favourite song of hers.  I have had it on repeat for so long I know all the words, and so does my whole family (yup, my parents are thrilled).  "I was like, no please stay here". I love that she says "like".

  1. I replayed 'Born to Die' about 20 times the first time I heard it, I absolutely love her! Not so keen on those horrible fake nails she insists on wearing though x

  2. The thing I love about Lana is her hair and brows (+ her style of makeup).

But I must say I view her lips less as 'bee-stung' and more as 'syringe-full-o'-collagen-stung', quite distracting.
I hope she doesn't do it again when the effects of this one pass (or, if that's her thing, does it with a surgeon who has a lighter hand).

    Her hair!
    Her brows!
She almost makes me want to stick a whole garden on my head :D !
