Puss in Boots

I am picky when it comes to shoes. The toe can't be too pointy, it can't be too rounded.  Too mannish is a cardinal sin but too girly is dull.  Completely flat is out, but I really don't need another high pair... do I?

I had the perfect pair of biker boots. Subtle but dramatic they were authentically worn in and had been with me since my thirteenth birthday. About a month ago the zipper broke for what seemed like the billionth time. 

It was time to say goodbye. Now, I'm on the hunt for a new pair! This time I'm in the market for some ankle boots minus those pesky zips!

   

   

Having trawled the internet these are my favourite pairs. I really like the cut out ones from Topshop but I can't decide if a three inch heel is too much? It's not very casual... Practicality wise I'm leaning toward the not quite so cut out boots from River Island. Although they could be a problem on the (many) days I end up with odd socks!
